What is a Solar Return chart?
A Solar Return chart maps the sky at the precise moment the Sun returns to the same zodiac position it held when you were born. That moment happens once each year near your birthday, and the chart is commonly read as a guide to the themes, priorities, and turning points of the year ahead.
This calculator uses your birth date and time to identify your natal Sun position, then finds its next annual return. It currently uses the entered Birth Location coordinates as the calculation location for both natal data and the Solar Return angles and houses. Location affects the Ascendant and house placements, but a separate relocated-return location input is not available yet; enter your birthplace rather than substituting a birthday travel destination.

Do I need my exact birth time?
Use your exact recorded birth time when possible. The return can still be estimated without it, but the Ascendant, houses, and timing are sensitive to birth time.
Why does the return location matter?
